2025 Lexus NX 350 vs 2025 Buick Envision near Alexandria, VA
2025 Lexus NX 350 shown above (left) and 2025 Buick Envision shown above (right) with available features.
Are you searching for a compact luxury SUV to navigate the streets of downtown Alexandria? Then you’ve certainly come across the 2025 Lexus NX 350 as well as the 2025 Buick Envision. We at Pohanka Lexus will directly compare the two luxury models and demonstrate how the Lexus is the superior vehicle.
Performance
Raw power is a good place to start the comparison between these two models, and the Lexus NX 350 generates its strength using a standard 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. It creates 275 horsepower1 and 317 lb.-ft. of torque1. The Envision falls short with 228 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque created by a standard ECOTEC 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder component. The Envision arrives with standard AWD, while the NX 350 uses standard FWD but has access to an available AWD setup. In their respective AWD configurations, the Lexus model has an EPA-estimated 21/28/24 MPG city/hwy/combined2 fuel efficiency rating, while the Buick wields an EPA-estimated 22/28/24 MPG city/hwy/combined3, showing a very similar output.
Interior
Both the 2025 Lexus NX 350 and the Buick vehicle include standard seating for five people, but the experiences they have inside the cars are vastly different. For one thing, the chairs in the Lexus are coated in a standard NuLuxe® interior trim, a material that offers a higher quality than the standard perforated leatherette on the Buick. Additionally, the Lexus offers a standard heated front row for your cold morning commutes down I-495, but you’ll need to go to higher trim levels to get them with the Buick. However, the 2025 Envision does offer a bit more storage space, providing its drivers with 52.7 cubic ft. of cargo space4 compared to the Lexus offering 46.9 cubic ft. of room5 behind the first row. Yet, the standard dual-zone climate control system in the NX 350, compared to the single-zone system in the Buick, shows that the tradeoff in stowing area is made up for with heightened relaxation.
Technology
In terms of the sheer size of its displays, the 2025 Buick Encore GX pulls ahead with a standard Ultrawide 30-inch touchscreen6. Not to be outdone, the Lexus NX 350 offers a standard 9.8-inch driver information display and an optional 14.0-inch Lexus Interface7 touchscreen for your infotainment needs. Both cars integrate standard wireless Apple CarPlay® 8,9 and Android Auto™10,11 capabilities, letting you utilize the apps on your preferred devices. Yet, if you’re looking for high-quality soundscapes to make your rides to Jones Point Park more enjoyable, then you’re better off with the Lexus. After all, this luxury compact SUV offers a standard 10-speaker Lexus Premium Sound System while the Buick has a Bose®12 9-speaker premium audio system. However, the optional Mark Levinson®13 17-speaker, 1,800-watt PurePlay Surround Sound in the NX 350 puts it far above the Envision. If you’re eager to experience all that the Lexus has, stop by our dealership location.
