2025 Lexus NX 350 vs 2025 INFINITI QX50 near Alexandria, VA
2025 Lexus NX 350 (left) and 2025 INFINITI QX50 (right) shown with available features.
Weighing your options between different luxury compact SUVs can be difficult since this market is so saturated with models. To assist with this task, we at Pohanka Lexus would like to turn your attention to the 2025 Lexus NX 350. Not only would we like to show off some features, but we'll compare it against the 2025 INFINITI QX50 to prove its worth.
Performance
The 2025 NX 350 doesn't mess around when it comes to performance, which is shown with the standard 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. With it, you'll wield 275 horsepower1 and 317 lb.-ft. of torque. Compared to these stats, the 2025 QX50 might make your Alexandria drives a little less exciting, as it only cranks out 268 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque. While both models have standard AWD, the Lexus model lends more variation with handling, thanks to up to five available drive modes. These settings are Normal, ECO, Sport S, Sport S+, and Custom. As for the ININITI SUV, you'll only have Standard, Sport, Eco, and Normal modes.
Technology
When you explore the interiors of the 2025 NX 350 and 2025 INFINITI QX50, you'll realize why the former is the more favorable choice. Although the QX50's set of six standard speakers gets the job done for your trips down Seminary Road, you'll likely prefer the NX 350's 10-speaker setup that comes standard. Both models are able to take it up a notch, but the Lexus SUV remains in the lead with its 17 available speakers. As for the INFINITI model, you top off at 12 optional speakers. If you want an easier time reaching new destinations, you'll appreciate that the NX 350 has a standard navigation system2, while only select trims of the QX50 offer such a technology. To further cement the NX 350's superiority, we'd like to mention that it includes an optional 14.0-inch touchscreen. The INFINITI vehicle's display only comes in an 8.0-inch setup.
Exterior
Even with its useful exterior elements, the Lexus NX 350 outshines the INFINITI QX50. Loading the cargo area with all of your necessities for your day trip to Chinquapin Park and Forest Park will be easy, thanks to the NX 350's available hands-free liftgate. Nighttime cruises can also be done in an effortless fashion, since the standard auto-dimming driver's sideview mirror alleviates distraction from other motorists' headlights. Also standard are rain-sensing windshield wipers. If you're still curious about the QX50, you may be dismayed to learn that it doesn't offer any of the aforementioned features. Although it does come with optional roof rails, the NX 350 steals the spotlight again, since it includes these as a standard amenity. Contact us to learn more about this desirable Lexus SUV.
