The Pohanka Auto Group has been around for over 100 years. Our dealership’s history began back in 1919 with our founder Frank S. Pohanka. Before this, however, he was a stable boy in Long Island, NY, for many years. However, he was always interested in mechanics and in the meantime, decided to learn all he could at the library. In 1919 he finally opened his first dealership and has since expanded. Our founder passed away in 1958 but after his death, the business stayed in the family and his son John took over. Ever since then, we’ve continued to expand and grow to provide quality vehicles to our customers.
